CEA's Political Action Committee (CEAPAC) protects your freedom to build and sell consumer electronics products. Right now, outside interests are pushing Congress to impose design mandates that will raise costs and reduce our freedom to innovate. Other groups are urging severe restrictions on international trade that will harm our competitiveness and our bottom lines.
What are the benefits of a Powerful CEAPAC?
- CEAPAC allows CEA to be the strongest voice on issues critical to our industry
- CEAPAC promotes our message of innovation and free markets
- CEAPAC enables our industry to support policymakers who share our values
Who will receive CEAPAC funds?
Contributions are made to election campaigns of candidates (both incumbents and challengers, Democrats and Republicans) who support innovation and champion causes important to the consumer electronics industry.
How is CEAPAC funded?
CEAPAC is funded solely through voluntary, personal contributions from the executive and administrative personnel of CEA's corporate members -- people like you. Corporate contributions are prohibited under federal law. A strong CEAPAC will enhance our voice in Washington, give us a level playing field with our well-funded opponents, and put our support behind members of Congress who are friends of the CE industry.
How can I help?
You can help by signing an authorization for CEAPAC solicitation form. Before we can ask for a contribution, federal election law requires us to first receive an authorization form from each CEA member company. You can access the authorization form by clicking here.
